Makin Mobile Beautiful
In episode 3 of Makin Mobile, we speak to the following three leaders from the City of Mobile about some of the city’s most exciting initiatives:
- Jennifer Greene, Director of Programs and Project Management
- Beverly Reed, Assistant Director, Community and Housing Development
- James Roberts, Senior Director of Neighborhood Development
Jennifer Greene is in charge of many projects for the City of Mobile including the Three Mile Creek Greenway Trail initiative and the Broad Street redevelopment project. Both of these projects are enhancing the livability and connectivity of Mobile and are a testament of the city’s commitment to improving its infrastructure in order to create a better future for Mobile and its citizens.

Beverly Reed and James Roberts both play an integral role in bringing more jobs and people to the City of Mobile. One great project that they are spearheading is an initiative to build or renovate 1,000 homes throughout the city by 2026. This initiative will help eliminate blight, make the city more beautiful, and encourage investment and development throughout Mobile.

All three of these leaders, along with Mayor Sandy Stimpson, are committed to making Mobile more beautiful, safe, and livable. Their efforts are visibly improving the city everyday and we cannot wait to see the final outcomes of their current initiatives. Having city leaders who are committed to improving an area on multiple fronts is both a rare and exciting phenomenon that signals growth and opportunity in Mobile’s future.
